Since the formation of Geminus Training in 2016, we’ve pretty much done what it said on the tin – train people. However, some things never go away. We’re still asked to help people raise finance and secure grants for innovation. We’re still asked what we know about R&D Tax Credits. We’re still asked to help develop innovation strategies and write plans. And we’re still involved in mentoring, supporting and nurturing a range of innovative people and projects.
Our training activities have gone from strength to strength and will always be the core of our focus, especially with the recent launch of our new ‘release your ep!c’ project. ‘ep!c’ is about helping companies improve their employee engagement, productivity, innovation and creativity with some amazing tools and techniques.
However, not everyone wants to be taught – many people want more direct help and assistance. We always listen to our customers, so we’re putting a new, refreshed emphasis on all of the additional, fabulous skills we have – at the end of the day, they all support and promote innovation – and few people know Innovation better than our team.
So, welcome to the all new Gemınüs. We hope that you’ll get as excited about the changes as we are…
So, what changes are we making? Let’s focus on the important stuff first. We’re introducing four main services which cover our comprehensive offering. We want to emphasise that it’s all about you, or as our new logo shows, all about ü:
Setting and delivering plans for your development and growth is fundamental to your success, which is why we help you understand, plan and deliver your innovation activities. A great example are our TLC workshops, which help you Talk, Listen and Change – bringing together senior management and your teams to help you understand the barriers and opportunities throughout your organisation. We also run Facilitation sessions, where we sit with your project teams to help them develop creative solutions to any given problem.
Generating loads of creative ideas is great – but they need to be turned into reality, delivering bottom line impact. We help you set plans for the successful delivery of your ideas and projects, and shape your organisational culture to provide continual improvement through innovation. These are all very people-centric processes, as we know that innovation is driven by people (not just technology). To us, it’s not just for managers (actually far from it) – we believe, practice and preach the philosophy that every person in every business can have an idea which leads to improvement.
Training is still the heart of what we do – the main difference is that we’ve made it better – much better. We’ve been working with one of our highly regarded partners, Dr. Mark Batey in a series of programmes to help companies improve their employee Engagement and Productivity through better Innovation and Creativity. This is what we call ep!c. Mark is internationally recognised for his academic work in proving the benefits of Innovation and Creativity, along with his superb delivery to international Primes from Forbes to the United Bank of America.
Whether we’re training your people to be more creative and innovative or supporting your leaders in their organisational development, our ep!c training programmes deliver tangible results in a near-immediate timeframe. We also have a special 12 month developmental programme which will transform your business from the inside-out, with interaction and impact throughout your organisation.
You can find out more about ep!c at our sister site – www.releaseyourepic.com
We all need finance to drive innovation, whether it’s hard cold cash, or the cost of personal time and resources. We understand the innovation funding scene and can help you access the finance you need, whether it’s through a grant or other means. Secondly, most of you know that you can claim money back through R&D credits – but we’ve got a genuine game changer here. We charge a FLAT FEE to manage your claim from start to finish in a single, 2 hour session, saving you considerable time and huge sums against the companies that usually charge around 20% of your claim.
Following the implementation of your innovation projects, you may find yourself in a position where you have a highly desirable and successful business, and you want to move on to your next big thing – or even retire early! With one of our partner organisations, we help you understand your options, shape your business to maximise it’s value, engage with potential purchasers and support you through to the point of financial and commercial completion.
Last but by no means least, we love to share what we know about Innovation – and there’s quite a bit to share. That’s why we’re all about sharing knowledge – giving you an insight into what we’ve learned through supporting hundreds of entrepreneurs and successful businesses over several decades. Whether it’s personal mentoring / coaching, or delivering workshops, events and keynote speeches, we can help your projects, people, teams and businesses become a thriving success.
Finally, the services we offer aren’t fixed in stone – so we’ve added a “bespoke support solutions” offer here. If you want a new programme, a commercial partner, non-exec support or something you can’t see here then please ask us. We love to help explore solutions to any problem or opportunity. We’re also keen to help our business communities thrive in any way we can – so if you’re just after a chat, a judge for an award programme, a speech for your school or anything similar please drop us a line!
Clearly we can’t deliver all of this alone, and whilst we’re pretty good, we’d never claim to be experts in absolutely everything. We’ve build a series of relationships with subject matter experts (who are also really nice people) to make our Innovation offering even better.
We’re now working with a series of financial experts to support raising finance, managing R&D credits and selling businesses. We’re also building our associate base, and adding skills in a series of other complementary areas including systems development and provision of wider training programmes. We’ll be adding these awesome people to our website over the coming months, so please keep watching!
So why are we still Geminus Training? Answer – we’re not. Well, sort of. Informally we’ll be dropping the “Training” bit. We’ll call ourselves Gemınüs as a generic title, but we’ll still trade as Geminus Training Ltd., and we’ll be using the website www.geminustraining.com. The reason for this? The Gemınüs brand means a lot to us (what’s better than a word which is about pairing and partnering?) – but as there’s already a company registered as Geminus Ltd. (which isn’t us!!) we can’t formally or legally use that name as a trading title.
Along with this comes a slight change to our image, which you might have noticed from the service names. Geminus Training was formed just after the birth of my twins, and game me the focus for the organisation and brand. However, the concept of two great forces helping each other has never been captured in our logo, which is why we’re making a subtle change as shown below.
The two circles above the “u” have numerous meanings, including (a) the perception of two people talking, and (b) a smiling face which suggests happiness and satisfaction. After all, it’s all about ü.
… and finally, we’ve got a new website! We’re still developing and adding stuff to it, but we’re always after constructive feedback – so please do let us know what you think – you can find us at:
